We’ve been hearing the gun control debates once again. Have you been reassessing your views on your Second Amendment rights as guaranteed by the Bill of Rights in the U.S. Constitution? Here are my thoughts so far: Criminals will always be with us as long as there is evil among us. No organization, country, entity, or sovereignty on earth has ever eradicated evil. If we surrender our Second Amendment rights, how will that stop evil and/or crazed people from doing evil things with armaments? Our Founders wisely intended for us to have the ability to protect our lives. They provided for the common defense in the Constitution (see the Preamble) but also gave us the Second Amendment right to bear arms which allows you and I, if we choose, to provide for the specific defense of life and limb. I remain in support of our Second Amendment rights.
