Americans need to have a serious discussion about growing up into adulthood. I make that case for maturity and adulthood in episode 18. It is unsatisfactory to engage in the current cultural drift and remain there. We all have to dig down deep within sometimes to learn to cope with adversity. The process of digging down deep to a reserve you didn’t know you had builds character and is the mark of adulthood. Life presents plenty of opportunities for us to listen when we would rather shout our views, to give when we would rather receive, to blame others instead of facing our own character defects. A nation with people of strong character is a strong nation.
