Can we get back to the serious topics of American life, like how Americans spontaneously are aiding Americans and bringing them to safety in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey? No one is asking for political party affiliation when they take their boats out on flooded streets to find stranded people. Black, Brown, White, Gay, or Straight, Americans are using their resources to help their neighbors in need. That’s what Americans do. .
