Emphasis On Becoming an Informed Patriot
Our celebration will be more than one day of food, fun, and fireworks. There is an emphasis on our citizenry becoming informed patriots who are acquainted with their founding documents as well as the philosophy of the American government.
Emphasis on the American Philosophy of Government
It’s not just our history that makes America. It is our philosophy of government that sets our country apart. Why did America succeed, growing from 13 colonies to 50 states plus five territories? It was the philosophy of government that our Founders developed through rigorous study of other philosophical frameworks of government and notable influencers throughout history.
Emphasis on the Past, Present, and Future
America 250 (A250) sees our year-long celebration as “an opportunity to pause and reflect on our nation’s past, honor the contributions of all Americans, and look ahead toward the future we want to create for the next generation and beyond.” I couldn’t agree more.
