Election Day is upon us. It’s not the names of the candidates for me. It’s about our 240+-year-old American heritage. Will we vote for freedom and put socialism far away from us?
Will we vote for individual self-reliance? Or will we vote for a nanny state?
Will we vote for the Bill of Rights and the Constitution? Or will we allow our Founding American Documents to be twisted beyond recognition? Will our Bill of Rights be interpreted with their original intent for our posterity and us? Or will we be sold a fake bill of goods that strips us of our rights in short order for generations to come?
Will we vote for liberty for a few and justice only for the powerful? Or will we vote for liberty and justice for ALL?
Will we let the media tell us their version of the truth and believe it? Or will We the People seek and search the facts out for ourselves?
Will we excuse corruption in order to seek revenger on individuals we only hear about but don’t know their side of the story? Or will we get busy and dig out the truth for ourselves. It’s not too late. It’s out there. It just can’t be found in convenient one-sided mainstream media news. It’s easy to digest the information we want to hear with a tone of voice that we like. It’s a lot harder to listen to media with a voice you loathe, tell you who is spending your hard-earned tax dollars with America’s enemies for personal gain.
It’s easy to side with your cause. It’s a lot harder to discover that your cause may be wrong for America for reasons you never heard about but now have read and found for yourself.
You can change your absentee vote in a few states. Find out if yours is one of them.
You can vote on November 3.
You can choose to live in peace, not follow the road to destruction.
You and I can do these things.
And in the tradition of our Forefathers, who prayed early and often in our history, we, too, can pray.
This is Common Sense Civics and Citizenship??
