What values will make America strong enough to withstand world threats attempting to bring our nation down?
The Role of Suffering in National Victory
I submit that suffering is a necessary attribute to achieving victory. How would our nation fare if we had to endure hardship to achieve victory in the end? Do we believe that adversity inspires resilience? Or are we addicted to an easier, softer life that rests on the sacrifices of the generations before us?
Americans must agree together that our nation is worth the sacrifice. We hold our freedoms dear, but changing our Constitutional Republic to any other form of government leaves us open for outside sources to change our nation. Do we believe in a Constitutional Republic?
Core Values Behind a Strong Republic
What about American values like faith, family, and freedom? We are losing these values to our detriment. How can those values of our forefathers build a strong nation today?
- Faith develops the “spiritual muscle” that builds resilience
- Family provides the reinforcements needed to maintain confidence when the road is rough.
- Freedom within the confines of a true Constitutional Republic keeps Americans grounded and oriented toward the north. We know where we’re going, and we know what to do.
Protecting Traditional Institutions from External Threats
Complacency, institutional erosion, and external influence threaten the existence of America. Complacency is laziness. If we abandon time-honored institutions that have served us well, such as a traditional educational curriculum, houses of worship, or communities that believe in the Constitution as a governing document, we will surely leave ourselves open to external invaders seeking our demise. We need resilience, not weakness.
