They are taking our country apart, piece by piece. They are using intimidation, humiliation, degradation, and victimization at our expense. They are the Marxist, Leftist, and Communist adults who are using young anarchists and criminals to tear down our history. They want to remake us in their own image.
Are you appalled when you watch the videos of historical statues toppled like the icon of Saddam Hussein years ago? I am. In fact, I find it repulsive. This all-out destruction is not how Americans act. We use discourse and the voting booth to settle our differences to choose which way we will go. Sadly, not now.
Did you vote to have Columbus or George Washington ripped from history? Has anyone even ask you if you thought erasing history was a formidable idea for our posterity and us? Where are the scores of people (those who supported relocating Civil War monuments) actually getting space for the “offending” statues in a museum? We are watching Civil War monuments destroyed while the anarchists and criminals throw a national tantrum.
I hear that those opposed to our country want perfection in their leaders. There was only One person to walk the earth who was sinless, and they want all reminders of Him taken down. I would love to know who they think is a perfect leader with an ideal system of governance. They say our history is full of sinful people, but who among us can cast the first stone? Look at the history of the people whom they are emulating. Is that what you want for your country?
We have a choice. We either kneel before the powerful America haters and cower in fear, or we act like Americans who stand up and defend the principles upon which our country stands. We can’t wait until the next election. The time is now. While we wait for someone to stand and deliver, the nation is being torn apart. We can’t expect someone else to do it for us.
It will take a mass effort to push back against those who would try to take your country away, whether in your family, town or state. Don’t name, blame, or shame them. Remember that with self-control, you can control an army. Fly your flag. Stand up at the council meeting. Don’t kneel before anyone but your Maker. Initiate conversations with others who believe as you do that America is still the last, best, hope on earth. Don’t let COVID or the critics stop you. Don’t give up your Republic to the rebels. Never back down. Stand up for the principle that All men are created equal. Don’t be controlled by a mob. The name of the game is action, not anger.
Individually, we need to take a stand as Patrick Henry did. “Give me liberty or give me death.”
What are some actions you can take or have taken to stand up for liberty?
